Brody-6 Months

Our little Brody is 1/2 a year old! (Seriously- can. not. believe. it.) It seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and we were up in the middle of the night doing feedings. He is such a happy baby and is very laid back.

At 6 months Brody...

  • Weighs-17lbs
  • Wears size 2 diapers and 6-9 month clothes
  • Eats around 5 ounces every 3 to 4 hours and is enjoying carrots, green beans, and baby cereal.
  • Loves his jumperoo
  • Enjoys taking baths and loves to kick the water
  • Has started pulling his feet to his mouth
  • Loves to play with his toys and roll all over the living room
  • Likes to lay on his back, lift his feet up, and slam them down on his crib
  • Enjoys going for walks and watching Nolan play
  • Continues to bring joy to our lives!

Preschool

Nolan started Preschool this year and he loves it! He goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. He loves telling me about his day-what shape he sat on, what he ate for snack, the story his teacher read, and the songs they sang. I am excited to go to his conference in a few weeks because for the first time, I am the PARENT and not the teacher! Ha! =) Here are a few pics from his first day.

Brody-5 Months

Life has gotten quite busy since school has started and I am just now catching up on posts! Brody turned 5 months old and shocked everyone when he sat up all on his own! He seems to be very strong for his age. He continues to be a very happy baby and Nolan just adores him!

At 5 months Brody...

  • Weighs 17.3lbs
  • Wears size 2 diapers and 6 month clothes
  • Naps 2 hours in the morning and afternoon
  • Sleeps 10:30p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Started solids-rice cereal, carrots, and green beans! He loves to eat!
  • Sat up all on his own
  • Can roll from one side of the living room to the other
  • Drools A LOT
  • Has a lot of hair (Is it too early for a 5 month old to have a hair cut?)
  • Continues to bring joy to our lives!
