28 Months-Brody

We have officially moved into our new house! This past month consisted of packing, parades, playing outside, painting, and moving in! The boys have a spent a few nights in our new house and love it!

At 28 months Brody...

*Wears 18 and 24 month clothes
*Wears size 4 diaper
*Has said a few two word phrases! (More milk)
*Has done a good job in our new house-he loves his crib!
*Likes to play outside with Nolan-especially bubbles.
*Smiles all the time and is rarely upset.
*Loves to watch Paw-Patrol and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
*Enjoys parades and eating lollipops!
*Likes to play with his train table and trucks.
*Loves to read books-especially Spot and Elmo books

27 Months-Brody

27 Months

Moving....moving...moving...us that is! We officially bought a house on July 1st! It is not far from our current house and is a perfect size for us! This month will be especially busy because we are trying to re-carpet the new house and paint before we move anything in. It is sad to know this is the last month in our current house-the only house Nolan and Brody have ever known. While it is sad when I think of all the memories, I look forward to making new ones in our new home! Onto Brody...

At 27 months Brody...

*Weighs 25lbs
*Wears 18 month and 2T clothes, size 6.5 and 7 shoe
*Wears size 4 diapers
*Continues to be a great eater in the aspect that he will at least try anything. He loves pickles! =)
*LOVES to be outside-swimming, walking, going for wagon rides, or riding his trike
*Is making some progress in the speech department-he will repeat us, but still struggles with 2 syllable words.
*Loves to read and enjoys anything to do with trucks, diggers, or emergency vehicles
 *Loves to take showers and now uses his own lufa to wash his body...so cute!
*Favorite shows-Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and PJ masks
*Loves playing outside with Nolan!
*Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Brody-26 Months

At 26 months Brody....

• Weighs 25lbs
• Wears size 3 diapers
• Wears 7w shoes and size 18-24 month clothes, some 2T
• Loves to eat muffins and cinnamon doughnuts for breakfast
• Has brown eyes with long eyelashes-he gets compliments of how he "smiles" with his eyes
• Loves playing outside-bubbles, walks, wagon rides, swings, zoo trips. He dislikes coming inside.
• Can count to 10 by himself
• Can tell me the sounds of almost all of the letters in the alphabet! (What does the p say? p-p-p-!)
• Loves to take showers and clean the shower with the squeegee.
• Wants to imitate and do everything we do-cook, bake, mow, vacuum, clean, etc.
• Loves the taste of his toothpaste and always asks for more toothpaste.
• Has developed interest in the potty-he will sit on it and try...but nothing seems to happen. I haven't tried to officially potty train him since we are getting ready to move houses!
• Loves trains, cars, boats, buses, airplanes, and his puppy.
•  Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Mother's Day Celebration

Nolan had a mother's day tea celebration at Sacred Heart. It was very sweet and cute. The kids all sang some songs and then we ate fruit kabobs that they made! It was very nice and I loved spending time with Nolan.

Preschool Graduation

Nolan had his preschool graduation on May 20th. It was very cute. The class sang songs, got certificates, watched a slide show, and then had a picnic at a park. We can't believe that he will be in Kindergarten! Time sure does fly, but we are so excited for him to start school!

Brody- 25 months

Brody is 2 years and 1 month! Spring is winding down and summer will be here soon! We can't wait to go to the zoo, play at the park, swim, and go to Adventureland! This summer will be great because Brody and Nolan can do many things together outside.

At 25 months Brody.....

• Weight and Length-somewhere around 24lbs and 35 inches
• Wears size 18-24 month clothes and a few 2T
• Wears size 7w shoe and size 3 diapers...still.
• Continues to be a great eater-he will try anything!
•  Is making progress in the speech department. He can repeat anything you say, but 2 syllable words are still difficult for him.
• Loves to look for buses outside
• Enjoys trains, cars, and stuffed animals. 
• Enjoys being outside and likes to ride in his car.
• Reads all the time and will often reach for a book to read in his crib when he wakes up.
• ADORES Nolan and loves playing with him.
• Is at the stage of "Me!" when it is time to do anything-wash hands, clean up, throw something away, etc. He loves to be Mr. Independent.
• Loves Mickey Mouse
• Loves to vacuum 
• Is for sure right handed
• Adores his Grandpa and loves spending time with him!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Happy 2nd Birthday Brody!

Our little Brody turned TWO years old! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and adjusting to a family of four. These past two years have been wonderful and we have loved watching the bond that Nolan and Brody have developed as brothers. They play so well together and really enjoy each other. We celebrated Brody's 2nd birthday by doing a Mickey Mouse party. He loves Mickey!

At 2 years old Brody...

• Height- 35.5 inches
• Weight: 24lbs
• Wears size 18 month and some 2T clothes and size 6w shoe

• Wears size 3 diapers...still.
• LOVES milk and will try  any food. He loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cheese.
• Is a wonderful sleeper-takes a 2+ hour nap in the afternoon and sleeps 12 hours at night.
• Is making progress in the speech department-words that we here often- more, papa, dada, dog, blue, and bus.
• He loves Sesame Street and Peppa Pig...and will often ask to watch them followed by the word please.
• Is always hot...he dislikes wearing socks and pants.
• LOVES BOOKS...he will pull books off of his night stand into his crib and read them when he wakes up.
• Favorite song-ABC song
• Loves playing with cars, trucks, and trains.
• Loves to take showers and play in the water but hates getting his hair washed.
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!
