Cason-19 months

Cason will turn 19 months tomorrow and is quite the little chatter box! He is like a sponge and absorbing all the words we will him. He is full of energy these days and loves to play with Nolan and Brody. This past month they have enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving and visiting Santa!

At 19 months Brody...

*Weighs 25lbs
*Wears size 5 shoe and size 12 or 18 month clothes
*Wears size 4 diapers
*Loves food-his favorite is green beans.
*Loves to dance-especially to Elmo's song!
*Loves to be outdoors.
*Enjoyed having Thanksgiving at our house
*Continues to identify all parts of his body and name them.
*Saw Santa for the 2nd time in his life-he did great and played peek-a-boo!
*Continues to be a great sleeper and sleeps from 7:30ish until 7:00a.m.
*Has a mouth full of teeth-almost all of them!
 *Talks all the time and loves to sing "Daddy Shark"
*Loves to read books
* Is obsessed with Bert and Ernie and carries the dolls around everywhere!

Cason-18 Months

Cason is 1 and 1/2 years old! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. He is such a joy to be around and always has a smile on his face. I wish I could freeze time and keep him this little forever!

At 18 months Cason...

• Weighs 25lbs ( 63%) and 33 inches (72%)
• Wears size 12 and 18 month clothes, size 5 shoe
• Loves to dance
• Eats anything but loves green beans!
• Loves Elmo and sings "La La La"
• Is starting to say A LOT of words: Daddy (his favorite word) Mama, Nani, Papa, CC, down, more, all done, cookie, ball, shoe, door, baby, Bro (Brody) Nol (Nolan), light, lion, bear, hi, bye.
• Loves to carry around his baby
• Loves to turn on and off lights in the house
• Had fun picking out pumpkins
• Had so much fun TRICK or TREATING this year! He loved walking up to the houses and picking a piece of candy. He was a minion and a lion.
• Climbs on everything
• Has the curliest hair and will be getting a hair cut soon...tear! 
• Is obsessed with shutting doors in our house.
• Loves to take showers and fill up his cup of water.
• Has a lot of teeth-too many to count. 
• Sits in front of the fireplace and will say cheese until you take his picture!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives.

Cason- 17 Months

Cason is 17 months and is definitely on the go! With school in full swing, we look forward to the weekends and playing outside! He is such a happy baby and loves to keep up with his big brothers!

At 17 months Cason...

• Wears size 4 diapers, 12-18 month clothes and 4w shoes
• Lots of curly hair- we have to put product in it!
• Will try any type of food we give him and loves to eat- ate peanut butter and jelly for the first time!
• Shakes his head no in the correct context.
• Loves to play with Elmo-especially the Hokey Pokey one
• Likes to play peek-a-boo
• Is starting to repeat words
• Loves to brush his hair with his comb
• Is starting to use forks and spoons independently
• LOVES to dance to music
• Loves being outside and going for walks!
• Loves taking showers
• Had his first  "haircut" by mom-trimming the bangs!
• Colored with crayons for the first time-going to be right handed!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Cason 16 months

 

Cason is really on the move this month ( so much that we broke down and got baby gates!). He wants to go everywhere, get into everything, and giggle and run.

At 16 months Cason...

• Weighs 22lbs
• Wears mostly size 12 month clothes and some 18 month
• Wears size 4w shoe and size 3 diapers
• Looks so cute with all his curls
• Loves milk and is a great eater-he will at least try anything you give him! He loves cheese!
• Enjoys music and LOVES TO DANCE
• Likes to play hide and seek
• Cries when you tell him no
• Says Mama, Dada, Daddy, ball, more, done
• Signs more, please, and all done
• Takes an afternoon nap for 2-3 hours
• Loves to go for walks, ride in the stroller, pulled in the wagon, or pushed on his trike
• Loves to be ticked and his giggles are so cute
• Follows multi-step directions
• Can make a sound for a dog
• Enjoyed the Beaverdale Fall Festival parade
• Misses the boys now that they are at school!
• Loves the book-Sophie Pop-Up Peekaboo and we have to read it every night!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

 

Cason-15 Months

Summer is coming to an end and Cason is now 15 month old! He loves trying to keep up with his big brothers and trying to steal Brody's puppy Spot!

At 15 months Cason...
* Weighs 22lbs 8oz (44%)
* Height- 31.5 inches (60%)
* Wears size 4 diapers
* Wears 12 and and a few 18 month clothes and size 4w for shoes
* Takes an afternoon nap- roughly 2-3 hours 
* Eats mostly anything we give him, or will at least try it.He loves green beans!
*Went to the Iowa State Fair and loved having a popsicle!
*Loves to go places-especially grocery shopping!
*Can follow any direction given to him...just depends if he wants to do it.
*Does not like the word "No" and pouts and cries when he hears it.
*Loves animals-especially dogs. He makes the "woof woof" sound!
*Loves to "talk" on the phone.
* Loves to play with anything musical.
* Enjoys swinging in the backyard and going to the park!
 * Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Cason-14 months

Cason is 14 months old and is in the cutest little stage ever. He loves to walk around, run, giggle, and babble. I am not ready for summer to be over, as I have been enjoying it with all 3 boys!

At 14 months Cason...

• Wears size 3 diapers
• Sleeps roughly from 7:30-7: 00 a.m. Sill wakes up sometimes in the middle of the night
• Wears mostly 12 month and 12-18 month clothes, size 3w shoe
• Loves to eat-his favorite is macaroni and cheese, along with string cheese.
• Can follow directions...when he wants to. =) He is our little rule breaker. When you tell him no, he smiles, and then continues to do it. 
• LOVES to be outside, go for walks, and go to the park.
• He loves to read-his two favorite books are "Farm Animals" and "That's Not My Lion."
• Has 3 top teeth and 4 on the bottom.
• Loves riding in his outdoor little tikes car
• Points at things he wants
• Signs "more" and will say "duh" for done.
• Climbs up stairs 
• ADORES Nolan and Brody and loves to play with them.
• Has the curliest hair and loves to have it styled
• Experienced his 2ND 4th of July!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Kansas City 2018

We took our annual trip to Kansas City at the end of June. Cason got to stay back with Nani, Poppi,  Aunt CC, and Uncle Chad. (He enjoyed getting spoiled.) Nolan and Brody LOVE going to Kansas City and this trip was wonderful! We stayed at the Sleep Inn in Liberty, Missouri. They boys love the pool and Nolan loves going down the big slide! Our trip  was full of fun- We went to Union Station and saw Incredibles 2 and visited Science City. We went to Legoland, Sea Life Aquarium, and Fritz's train restaurant.  We also spent 2 days at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun! The boys experienced the wave pool, lazy river, and LOTS of slides!
