We left around 11 a.m. and drove to Kansas City. Nolan did well and enjoyed watching "Frozen" in the car. (Fortunately for us we enjoy the songs!) We decided this year when we got there that we would check out Wonder-scope Children's Museum. It had wonderful reviews and so I thought it was worth checking out. Well-was I WRONG! It was an old school building that had just been painted and not remodeled. They had different activities in each room, but needless to say the ideas were there, just no executed properly. We spent maybe an hour max and couldn't wait to get out of there. (I just felt gross being there but Nolan seemed to love it!)
After we left the museum, we went and ate at Texas Roadhouse. It's one of our favorite restaurants and ironically is located next to our hotel in Liberty. Unfortunately our experience wasn't that pleasant as our food seemed a bit burnt. =/ (Nothing tests as good as burnt chicken critters!) So after "eating" our meal we checked into our hotel and went swimming. The Sleep Inn has a nice pool for toddlers and Nolan enjoyed the slide a lot this year!
This video is sideways..not sure how to fix it.

We went to World's of Fun bright and early when they opened at 10 a.m. You are allowed to bring sealed bottles of water into the park, but no food. Well, we were clever and found ways to sneak in food using our stroller. (They have a policeman searching bags when you walk in.) The food at the park is outrageously expensive and Nolan is such a picky eater that we need to bring food for him to eat...aka yogurt and grapes. The weather was nice and the park wasn't busy. I don't think we waited in line once!

We went to Oceans of Fun when they opened at 10:30a.m. It is an awesome water park and has a great toddler area. There are slides that adults can go on with their toddlers. The first hour Nolan refused to get in the water and get his shorts wet. After a lot of patience and persuasion we got him to go on one of the slides. He LOVED it! So for the next 4 hours all we did was go down the water slides. It was great and I highly recommend this water park! All was well that day until Nolan scraped his toe on the chair and/or cement and it started bleeding. Jimmy had to walk all the way across the park to the first aid building in the corner of the park. (Why wouldn't put it near the toddler/kids area???.) Anyway, after about 30 minutes of

We went to Lowes in the morning for Build and Grow because they were doing Turbo. This is Nolan's FAVORITE movie and fortunately there was a Lowes right by our hotel. Nolan had fun building Turbo with Jimmy and then we headed to Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium. There are 2 different lines to get into Legoland-general admission and tickets purchased in advance. Thank goodness we purchased our tickets in advance because the lines were forever long. We had to wait roughly 30 minutes to get in with the advanced tickets! (The sign for general admission says that wait time may be up to 4 hours!) Legoland was a blast-we went on a few rides, saw two 4-D movies, built a racecar, played with some legos and played in play-place.
We then ventured to the Sea Life Aquarium. This place is just "ok" but it's kinda like a "why not?" since we are already there. Nolan enjoyed looking at the sea horses and the sharks.
After that we went and ate at Fritz's Restaurant. This place is so cool because you order from a phone in your booth and your food gets delivered by a train. Nolan enjoyed watching the trains go around delivering the food and those going around by the booths.
