Brody- 11 months

 

 

Brody is 11 months old today and is such a sweet and happy little baby! Everyday he greets me  in his crib with a big smile and a giggle. He is growing so fast, and  loves chasing after his big brother Nolan!

At 11 months Brody...

• Weighs 20lbs
• Has so much hair! He has had 2 trims already, and I think I need to do a third!
• Eats 4 bottles a day-we have started mixing 2% milk with my milk (5 oz)
• Wears size 2 diapers....still! (3's at night)
• Wears mostly 12 month clothes
• Has dark brown eyes that have a sparkle in them
• Loves to eat! He loves gerber fruits and vegetables, but has really started taking an interest in table food. He loves anything with noodles- pasta, mac and cheese, ravioli, etc.
• Is starting to drink from his sippy cup...he usually just chews on the top
• Has a lot of teeth...3 on the top and 2 on the bottom
• Sleeps from 7:15p.m. to 10:30 p.m, eats and then goes back down until 7.  He naps 2 times a day for 1-2hrs each time
• Loves to read books
• Babbles "Dada" and has recently started saying "Mama"
• Knows  how to give you a "kiss"- he will lean in and open his mouth on your cheek.
• Gives high fives, waves, and claps
• Loves to walk with the walker, cruise around furniture, and play with his toys
• Loves rattles, BALLS, trucks, anything he can pull and push, and knocking over "towers" made out of stacking cups
• Is fast at climbing up the stairs...he likes to climb them whenever we go upstairs to his room
• Plays peek-a-boo...he will sit behind a door and move the door back and forth to play peek-a-boo with you....it is so cute!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!
