Brody's 1st Birthday

Our little Brody is ONE! This year flew by and it seems like yesterday he was born. (It's amazing how you can remember every detail of a specific day!) I have mixed emotions about Brody turning 1...he is no longer a baby (sad!) but is starting to develop his personality and "play" with Nolan. It is so fun to watch them interact and entertain each other.

At 1 Brody...

• Weighs 19lbs 
• Wears size 3 diapers 
• Wears size 4 shoes and 12 month clothes
• Takes 2 naps a day...a morning (2-3hours) and an afternoon (1-2 hours)
• Drinks milk from a sippy and loves to eat! (So different from Nolan!) He loves macaroni and cheese!
• Sleeps 7:15p.m. to 7 a.m.
•  Loves to go on walks in his stroller or ride in shopping carts
•  Walks EVERYWHERE....his walking is turning into running
• Continues to love baths.
• Understands the word "No" and pouts when he hears it
•  LOVES TO DANCE! He likesto sway his head to the music and move his body
• Says Mama and Dada
• Loves to build and knock over towers, and loves to play with balls.
• Plays peek-a-boo all the time
• Is able to follow simple directions: Go get your ball, come here, turn around, push, pull, roll,
  bounce, stand, walk, and a few others.
•  Has the cutest little giggle that can make anyone's day better!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!
  
  We also celebrated his birthday this past weekend. We did the theme of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" which is very fitting since he loves to eat! Here are a few photos of his special day. We ate pizza, opened gifts, watched a slideshow of his first year, and had cake!
