21 Months-Brody

This past month has been very busy with winter vacation, Christmas, and New Years! We spent lots of time with family and enjoyed our time together. Brody and Nolan had a wonderful Christmas and got way too many toys! It was so much fun this year watching Brody's excitement as he opened his toys. He really enjoyed playing with his remote control cars, reading books, and eating chocolate!

At 21 months Brody..

• Weighs about 23.5 lbs
• Wears size 5 shoe and 18-24 month clothes
• STILL is in size 3 diapers
• Sleeps from 7:30p.m. to 6:30a.m. and takes a 2+ hour afternoon nap-he is such a good sleeper!
• LOVES to eat food-he will run to his highchair when it is time to eat. He will eat about anything and he loves to dip things in ketchup!
• Is learning new words and different sounds animals make. 
• Some words Brody can say- up, bye, down, hi, Mama, Dada, done, dog, more, p-ease for please. We are working on his name...he can say Bro and dy, but can't quite put it together.
• LOVES to read! He often will sit in his chair and just look at books.
• Has started sleeping with a blanket...he loves it!
• Continues to play well and can easily entertain himself
• Has started playing with puzzles and loves them.
• Loves to go "up and down" on the stairs
• Will run and sit in our seat when we get up-he giggles and thinks it's so funny!
• Loves music and loves to dance with us.
• When he wants our attention, he grabs our hands to take us where he wants us to go
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!
