4th of July Fun

We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July! We went to the West Des Moines Parade on July 3rd in the evening at 6:30 p.m. It is nice that it is at night because it was a "little" bit cooler than the day. It was fun to watch Cason since this is the 1st parade he has been old enough to really watch and enjoy what was going on! He loved pointing and going " OOOOhhhhh!"

On the 4th of July, the kids had fun riding their bikes/scooters in the neighborhood parade at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Nolan enjoying riding up front by the firetruck, Brody rode his Captain America bike with Grandpa, and I pushed Cason in his little car stroller. It was HOT but a lot of fun! Later that night we went and watched the Urbandale fireworks. We were not impressed this year but the boys had fun with their glow sticks and necklaces!
