Cason-13 months

Cason is a walking running, babbling, giggling, laughing, and playing 13 month old. This past month he has really started to "talk" a lot and show us just how adventurous he is. He loves to run around the main floor and try to climb the stairs without us near by. He knows he's not supposed to do it, but still tries. I don't think he is quite the rule follower Nolan was at this age.

At 13 months Cason..

*Weighs 20lbs
 *Wears size 3 diapers and 12 month clothes
*Goes to bed at 7:15p.m. and 7:45 and wakes up once for milk, and then usually up around 6:45 a.m.
 *Takes a morning and an afternoon nap
*Continues to love taking baths...he will run to the stairs and start heading up when we tell him it's bath time.
 *Loves to eat different foods and try new things-his favorite thing to it is string cheese and macaroni and cheese.
 *Drinks 2% milk out of his sippy cups and likes to place the sippy in his cup holder
 *Walks all around and loves to walk with dish towels
*Played in the water table and pool for the first time
*LOVES MUSIC-he will "talk" and point to the TV when music comes on or if it is playing on my phone. He loves to move his body to the music.
*Is learning all about rules and timeout-he does not like the word "No."
*Says Mama, Dada,
 *Loves to go "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
*Shakes his head when we say " No, no, no, no, no!
 *Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Cason- One Year Old Party

We celebrated Cason turning ONE YEAR OLD on Saturday, May 19th. It was a pretty busy day because we took family pictures in the morning and then got ready for the party in the afternoon. Cason's party was Sesame Street Babies themed-the same we did for Nolan, but added and changed a few things! Cason had a blast, although he didn't want to eat much of his cake. Here are some pictures from his special day. It is hard to believe he is ONE! 

 

Cason-1 Year Old!

Our baby is officially not a baby anymore-Cason is 1! This moment is so bittersweet-the joy of him growing up and watching him develop into his own little person, but the sadness of his baby stage going away. He is a such a happy baby and we love watching him learn and grow!

At 12 months Cason...

• Weighs 19lbs 
• Wears size 3 diapers 
• Wears size 4 shoes and 12 month clothes
• Takes 2 naps a day.
• Drinks milk from a sippy and loves to eat and is not afraid to tell you when he doesn't like something!
• Sleeps 7:15 p.m. and still wakes up once a night to eat. 
•  Loves to go on walks in his stroller or ride in shopping carts
•  Walks EVERYWHERE....his walking is turning into running
• Continues to love baths.
• Understands the word "No" and pouts/cries when he hears it
•  LOVES TO DANCE! He likesto sway his head to the music and move his body
• Says Mama and Dada
• Loves to play with balls.
• Plays peek-a-boo all the time
• Is able to follow simple directions: Go get your ball, come here,etc.
•  Has the cutest little giggle that can make anyone's day better!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Cason- 11 Months

Cason is 11 months old today and is such a sweet and happy little baby! Everyday he greets me  in his crib with a big smile and a giggle. He is growing so fast, and  loves chasing after his big brothers!

At 11 months Cason...

• Weighs 19lbs
• IS WALKING!!!!
• Has so much curly hair and needs a haircut!
• Eats 4 bottles a day-we have started mixing 2% milk with my milk.
• Wears size 3 diapers.
• Wears mostly 12 month clothes.
• Loves to swing!
• Loves to eat! He loves gerber fruits and vegetables, but has really started taking an interest in table food. He loves anything he can pick up- green beans, peaches, string cheese!
• Loves to use his straw sippy cup and enjoys drinking water.
• Has 4 teeth...2 on the top and 2 on the bottom.
• Takes 2 naps a day.
• Loves to read books, especially the touch and feel books.
• Babbles "Dada" and "Mama"
• Visited the Easter Bunny!
• Loves to walk with the walker, cruise around furniture, and play with his toys
• Loves rattles, BALLS, trucks, anything he can pull and push.
• Is fast at climbing up the stairs...he likes to climb them whenever we go upstairs to his room
• Plays peek-a-boo...he will sit behind a door and move the door back and forth to play peek-a-boo with you....it is so cute!
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!

Cason- 10 Months Old

Cason is 10 months old and really starting to explore everything with cruising along furniture! Nolan and Brody love playing peek-a-boo with him and are great big brothers!

At 10 months Cason...

• Weighs 19lbs
• Wears 9 month clothes
• Loves to eat sweet potatoes, apples & cherries, bananas, carrots, and yogurt melts. We have tried to give him some more real food, but he just gags!
• Goes to bed around 7:30 p.m. and wakes up one time during the night for a bottle.
• Cruises everywhere-around furniture, with his walker, and in the kitchen.
• Has started stacking cups inside each other
• Loves to knock down towers
• Wears size 3 diapers.
• Gives high-fives and waves bye-bye!
• Loves going to the zoo!
• Loves to play with balls-he will roll them to us, roll them across the room and go chase them, chew on them, put them in cups, baskets, etc.
• Crawls everywhere and learned how to crawl up the stairs.
• Cruises along furniture and stands holding on to things very well. 
• Has started to drink from his sippy cup during meal times. 
• Loves music-he will shake his head to the music and now has started to move his body.
• He loves to walk around in the walker and goes so fast!
• Brings joy to our lives each day!
