3 Months Old

Nolan is three months old today! Time sure is going by fast, yet at the same time slow. I feel like it was forever ago that I had my c-section! Now that summer is here, it is fun spending the day with Nolan and watching him change right before my eyes.

At three months Nolan....

*Weighs 12.2lbs
*Is 24 inches
*Wears size 1 diapers
*Wears mostly 0-3 month clothes and a few newborn
*Drinks 6oz of breast milk every four hours
*Sleeps 9 p.m. until 8 or 8:30 a.m.
*Sleeps on his tummy with a blanket
*Sucks on BOTH thumbs...left or right...perhaps he will be ambidextrous
*Loves tummy time on his boppy
*Loves his play mat and reaches for the toys hanging above him
*Has figured out when he kicks his feet on the play mat, it will make the lights and music start
*Loves to stand up while being burped or just stand up with support
*LOVES the hair dryer blowing on him....he lifts his head up towards it and kicks his legs
*Moves around in his crib...we put him down vertically and find him in the corner horizontal
*Smiles when he has a full belly
*Recognizes his bottle when it's time for a feeding and tries to hold it with his hand
*Still loves bath time!
*Brings joy to our lives each day!
