One more month that is...until Brody turns 2! Where has the time gone!? I can't believe April is almost here and that we are planning for his 2nd birthday. Although I do miss the "baby" stage, I love each stage Brody goes through. Right now he is into repeating new words and trying to do a lot of this by himself.(Like unzip his coat, take off his socks, etc.) It is so fun to see things through the eyes of a toddler...even the littlest things make him laugh and giggle.
At 23 months Brody....
- Weighs around 24lbs
- Wears size 18-24 month clothes and size 5 shoes
- Still wears size 3 diapers
- Sleeps from 7:30 p.m.- 6:30 a.m. and takes a 2 hour afternoon nap
- Can say about 40 words and is improving in the speech department. His most recent words are dig, back, neck, door.
- Knows most of his colors and point to them when asked.
- Loves to read books and make animals sounds.
- Loves Mickey Mouse and Sofia the First
- Is good eater-good about trying new things, but his appetite is slowly reducing.
- Loves to vacuum, sweep the floor, and do the dishes.
- Enjoys helping us cook at the counter...he loves to stir things
- Carries Dog around with him everywhere he goes
- Favorite songs-Get Your Head in the Game-from high school musical
- Loves to play outside and go for walks
- Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!
