27 Months

Busy. Busy. Busy. That seems to sum up how our summer has been so far! Nolan has taken many trips to the park, zoo, library, farmers market, movies, mall, grandparents/Aunt CC's house, and walks around the pond. In the evenings he has enjoyed going swimming and helping Jimmy set up his new play-set. It is a work in progress, but we are getting there!

At 27 months Nolan...

*Weighs 29lbs
*Wears 18 month and 2T clothes, size 6.5 and 7 shoe
*Wears size 4 diapers
*Continues to be a picky eater but is enjoying the occasional chicken nugget happy meal. =)
*LOVES to be outside-swimming, walking, going for wagon rides, or riding his trike
*Has not had his first haircut yet...I keep cutting it myself and it is so curly
*Still has blue eyes..although they seem a bit hazel too
*Loves to read and enjoys anything to do with trucks, diggers, or emergency vehicles
*Repeats everything we say and is starting to talk more and more in complete sentences.
*Is our personal weather forcaster..."Windy Mommy!" or "Supposed to rain!"
*Talks with such great expresssion
*Loves to take showers and now uses his own lufa to wash his body...so cute!
*Favorite shows/movies-Sesame Street, Peppa Pig, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Cinderella ("bibbity, boppity, boo" according to Nolan) Finding Nemo, How to Train Your Dragon
*Is excited about his new play-set in the backyard
*Will be going on his first family official vacation to Kansas City next week
*Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!
