29 Months

I am a bit behind on blogging. These past few weeks have been pretty hectic with the Iowa State Fair, family in town, summer coming to an end, and school starting. The weather has been extremely hot (90-100 degrees) and we are all ready for fall to get here.

Nolan at 29 months...

• Is potty trained (wears size 4 diapers for naps and nighttime)
• Read his first book by himself- Blue Hat, Green Hat
• Loves to sing, say his ABC's, and count
• Is learning to spell his name
• Went to the Iowa State Fair and loved going on the giant slide with Nani and Daddy
• Enjoys going to parades and loved the Adel Corn Festival/Parade
• Is very independent
• Loves to help do the dishes, vacuum, do laundry, and clean the windows
• Is very affectionate...in the morning he will say, "Mommy you give me hug kiss bye bye?"
• Compares lots of things -"We both have blue shirts Daddy!"  or "You have big one, I have little one!"
• Went to Monkey Joe's with his cousins and LOVED IT!
• Had his first official "big boy" haircut 
• Enjoys going to Grandma/Papa's house and Kelly's during the week 
• Loves to play on the tablet
• Continues to bring joy to our lives each day!
